If you are interested in renewable energy technologies for your own use in Africa, we can probably help you. It may be best to use the services of our qualified dealers in most African countries. Or, if your location is remote or you just want to do it yourself, we can coach you from here and deliver the components to you.
#1 - Determine The Load
First, we need to determine how much electricity you will need each day. This is known as the "load". Decide which equipment or lights you need to operate each day, and how many hours you will use them. Read the ratings on your equipment or lights to determine the number of watts (if you can't find the ratings, ask us, and we will help you calculate). The number of watts on the rating will generally equal the hourly energy consumption of the equipment or light. Then use this simple formula: Number of hours of use per day X Rated Watts X Quantity of Equipment or Lights = Total Load
#2 - Determine Your Resources
Now, list the resources available. Do you have power from the national electric company at some times? Do you have a generator available? Finally, tell us the physical location and we will tell you what renewable resources (sun and wind) are available.
#3 - What Is the Budget?
Renewable technologies can give you almost any amount of power you need - provided you can afford it! Most systems are modular, so you can build as you go. Let us know what your financial constraints are, and we can help you get the most power for your money.
#4 - Tell Us!
